In thermal operation, gas streams at high temperatures, e.g. hot waste gases, provide evaporation energy. In contrast to electrical evaporators, valuable and expensive electricity can be saved. But even here, all advantages of EBZ evaporators, like high dynamic, low pulsation design adaptations are available for numerous liquids like DI water, methanol and ethanol.
