• Decentralised Energy Supply with planar SOFC, SMWA (2002 – 2004) EBZ coordinates and realises the development of a modular decentralised energy supply system
• EKO-SOFC, SMWA (2005 – 2007) Optimisation of component fabrication and materials
• Real-SOFC, EU (2004 – 2008) Enhance the reliability of SOFC, EBZ is testing SOFC-Stacks of European suppliers
• FLAME-SOFC, EU (2005 – 2009) Robust SOFC-System for One and Multi-family homes, EBZ as central system integrator
• FC Chain, EU (2006 – 2009) Transfer of Knowledge between Universities and Industry along the complete value chain
• FC-Eurogrid, EU (2010 - 2013) Evaluating the performance of fuel cells in european energy supply grids
• FC-District, EU (2010 - 2014) New µ-CHP network technologies for energy efficient and sustainable districts. EBZ developed a SOFC-system and built 5 demonstration systems for district heating.
• DESIGN, EU (2011 - 2014) DEgradation SIGNature identification for state operation diagnostic. EBZ defined degradation phenomena and diagnostic methods
